We breathe about 25,000 times each day. Every breath flows in two parts—inhale and exhale—a perpetual rhythm of life force moving through our bodies. Each cycle becomes a moment of receiving life and releasing it, mirroring the ocean's natural ebb and flow. The waves breathe with us, their effervescent shores produce oxygen that keeps us alive.
Thalassa captures these in-between moments through photography and objects of nature found on the shore.
Those become a moments for meditation - a singular instant suspended between breaths.
In meditating on those moments and reconnecting with your breathing rhythm each day, you create space to be present amid thousands of fleeting experiences. Each captured moment reminds you that what you are witnessing is singular and unrepeatable, helping you recognize the unique essence of every breath, every wave, every heartbeat that will never happen again.

Thalassa transforms oceanic moments into meditative prints and art objects available for purchase, with proceeds directly supporting initiatives of Humanitarian Acts and Ocean Conservation.

CURRENT INITIATIVES
I believe environmental destruction is fundamentally a symptom of inner disconnection rather than just a technical or policy problem.
All the cleanup efforts, regulations, and technological solutions, while necessary, are treating symptoms rather than the disease itself.
As people we pollute the environment the way we pollute our bodies. Disconnected from our own breath, our own inner rhythms,
we naturally become disconnected from the breath of the earth - the ocean's tides, the forest's cycles, the atmosphere's circulation.
When people are at war with themselves internally, that conflict inevitably spills outward. I believe that love is the key to global healing.
When we become truly loving ourselves - not in a narcissistic way, but with genuine acceptance and harmony - we begin to extend
that love into our environment. We can't help but treat our planet with the same care we give ourselves.
It's not forced or moralistic, it is an organic expression of our inner state.
